Well you would be right!
On a quiet street where old ghosts meet
I see her walking now
Away from me so hurriedly
My reason must allow
That had I loved not as I should
A creature made of clay
When the angel woos the clay
He’d lose his wings at the dawn of day
So like 30 seconds after I reblog something about having no messages, I get a message that I can now not see.

Bowties are cool.
Blink, blink and you’re dead.
“This is my timey-wimey detector. It goes ding when there’s stuff.”
”Molto bene!”
“I can buy a fez.”
“TARDIS, Time Lord, yeah.” “Donna, human, no!”
“Oh, look! Rocks!”
“One day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine…”

difficult to answer! my first show with my parents (or my church/youth group) probably predates most of the memories I can dig up. Brace yourself for some jesus rock:
christian show (my own choice): Guardian
diy show: Scater’d Few
secular show: Van Halen (Cherone era)
festival: Cornerstone ‘99There were a bunch of classical music concerts by way of school trips and that sort of thing, but the first actual pop concert I went to with a pack of my nearest and dearest was Erasure, at the now-demolished Austin City Coliseum, on the Wild tour, right around 1989 or 1990.
First DIY: Morrissey at the whatever it was outdoor pavilion venue in Boston, summer 1991.
Festival: I don’t remember the name of it, but it was organized by the Houston then-alt-music station KRBE 104.1 sometime in the mid-1990s. I think Blues Traveller was one of the acts.
Well for general concert, that would be Broadway singer Davis Gaines, probably 1997. But my first proper rock concert was Pete Yorn at the Wiltern, 2004. A few weeks before my eighth grade graduation. He did a cover of the Stone Roses’ “She Bangs the Drums” and some Smiths song. Little did I know those would be two of the bands I listened to the most in high school, as I discovered all the ’80s-’90s BritPop I could!
